My Why

When I started this photography journey, I never imagined it would become what it is today. Honestly, the first few years were mostly about spending time with my dad. Photography became something that connected the two of us, and that alone was enough of a reason to

keep going. Little did I know that my dad and I were accidentally starting a little sideline adventure that would turn into something much bigger.

Over time, it became about so much more than just taking pictures. I started hearing parents tell me that they wouldn't have many (or sometimes any) pictures of their athletes if I wasn't there. Those moments really stuck with me and sparked something bigger.

What started as a way for my dad and I to spend time together has grown into a way to preserve memories for athletes and their families, connect with our community, and capture all the emotions that make sports so special. The big plays are amazing, but the celebrations, the

hugs, the smiles, the nerves, and the moments people don't always see are the ones I love capturing the most.

Of course, this journey didn't just grow for me... I also managed to drag my dad along for the ride. What started as him encouraging my photography hobby has turned into him becoming my second shooter. At this point, you can probably find him at games with a camera in his hands just as often as you can find me with one in mine. (I'm pretty sure he didn't realize he was signing up for a second job when he encouraged me all those years ago.)

To me, success isn't about how many photos I take or how many games I cover. Success is knowing that when an athlete finishes their high school career, they can look back at those years and relive some of the moments, emotions, and memories through the images I captured.

Photography has also changed me in ways I never expected. Growing up, and even shortly after graduating high school, I was extremely shy and usually the person who stayed quiet in the background. Somehow, standing on the sidelines with a camera forced me to come out of my

shell. Now I absolutely love talking with athletes, coaches, families, and fans at games. I never would have imagined that something as simple as picking up a camera would help me find my voice and connect with so many amazing people. I'm so thankful for every athlete, family, coach, and fan who has trusted me to capture these moments.

In all seriousness, I am so thankful for where this journey has taken me and for every athlete, parent, coach, and fan who has trusted me to capture these moments. My goal has always been to preserve the memories that athletes and families can look back on years from now and

remember not just what happened, but how it felt. The camera may have started this journey, but the people I've met along the way are what have

made it so special. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your stories, your seasons, and your memories.

Here's to more games, more moments, more photos, and my dad continuing to pretend he didn't sign up for a second job.
